Inventing America
Organisation: The Barbican Centre
Role: Artistic Director
A year-long season presenting the world's largest ever celebration of US culture. Inventing America marked the first major artistic initiative under the new management team, setting in motion the Centre’s artistic revival, and integrating its own promotions – both classical and contemporary – with those of the resident and associate ensembles and companies.
